Families at Trinity Lutheran School might be interested in seeking the grace of Holy Baptism, First Communion, and Confirmation for their child. If you are interested, please contact Pastor Chris. And, please begin attending services at Trinity if you are not already attending worship regularly.

HOLY BAPTISM

Trinity Lutheran Church & School welcomes church members, school students, and neighbors to prepare for Holy Baptism by participating in worship and learning about the Sacrament of Holy Baptism.

Expectations:

  • have a desire to be baptized (or to have your child baptized)
  • participate in worship services (in person) consistently as you and/or your child prepare for Holy Baptism.
  • attend individual or group classes to learn about Holy Baptism.

Baptisms are usually scheduled with the Pastor individually with each household seeking baptism. If a group of children and/or adults are seeking baptism, we may schedule one or more Sundays where multiple people can be baptized at the same service.

Trinity Lutheran Church has three worship services every weekend - 

  • in English, 5pm on Saturday and 10am on Sunday
  • in Spanish, 11:30am on Sunday.

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION

Trinity Lutheran Church & School welcomes church members, school students, and neighbors to prepare for their First Holy Communion by participating in worship and learning about Holy Communion.

Expectations:

  • have a desire to receive the gift of Holy Communion
  • participate in worship services (in person) consistently from August thru October to hear God’s Word, observe the Sacrament, become familiar with Trinity’s liturgy, and get to know other worshipers.
  • attend four classes to learn about Holy Communion (October/November).

We will celebrate First Holy Communion on Christ the King Sunday, November 22.

Holy Communion is a sacrament for baptized Christians. If you or your child is not baptized and would like to be baptized, contact Pastor Chris.

Trinity Lutheran Church has three worship services every weekend -

  • in English, 5pm on Saturday and 10am on Sunday
  • in Spanish, 11:30am on Sunday.

Children/families participating in the class will be asked to sign an attendance sheet when they come to worship to record their attendance in keeping with the participation expectations.

CONFIRMATION

Trinity Lutheran Church & School welcomes Trinity Lutheran School students in 8th grade and above to prepare for the Rite of Confirmation (Affirmation of Baptism).

Expectations:

  • have a desire to be confirmed (to make public affirmation of your baptism)
  • participate in worship services (in person) consistently at Trinity Lutheran Church (including the completion of “worship notes” to demonstrate understanding of the service and sacraments).
  • demonstrate learning in Trinity Lutheran School Religion classes
  • complete one additional project (“Creative Faith Project”) and sessions with Pastor Chris (four sessions over the year)
